INTRODUCTION
Vibro Parahaemolyticus live in seafood such as shrimp, fish, crab, and oysters in brackish or salt water and causes gastrointestinal illness in humans. The habit of eating rare, raw seafood often leads to the infection of Vibro Parahaemolyticus. Acute enteritis, mild cholera are the main manifestations of the disease, the disease has many different manifestations such as diarrhea, vomiting, loose stools, and fatigue. In addition, the virus also penetrates through the wound and causes systemic bacteremia. Currently, there are many testing methods such as Pap method, and traditional culture. However, the real-time PCR method is still commonly used due to its high sensitivity and specificity.
TopSPEC® Vibrio parahaemolyticus REALTIME PCR KIT (SQB-107) is a test kit that allows fast and accurate detection of V.parahaemolyticus by real-time PCR in 2 hours. The kit is used on food and feed samples after proliferation. The designed primer and probe sequences have 100% similarity with the Shigella sequences analyzed on bioinformatics software. The kit combines a new generation Taq Polymerase technology and an optimized buffer system with enhanced substances to improve efficiency and sensitivity of the reaction. In addition, during extraction or mixing, exogenous controls can be added to avoid false negatives and manipulation errors.
