Shrimp is an important commodity bringing high economic value. However, the disease in shrimp has become one of the serious problems threatening the seafood export industry in many countries. One of the most important strategies to prevent diseases in shrimp is the early detection of pathogens.
We are proud to present the TopAQUA® WEEV PCR KIT, a kit that helps to simultaneously detect the causative agent of White spot syndrome virus (WSSV), Early Mortality Syndrome (EMS), Enterocytozoon Hepatopenaei (EHP), and Vibrio parahaemolyticus.
” TopAQUA® WEEV PCR KIT is a PCR-based test kit that allows fast and accurate detection of many pathogens in shrimp. The average time for detection is 2 to 3 hours. The kit applies next-generation Hot Start Taq Polymerase technology and an optimized buffer system to improve performance, sensitivity and reaction time. In addition, during extraction or mixing, exogenous controls can be added to avoid false negatives and manipulation errors.”
