Introduction
White spot syndrome virus is a common disease in shrimp. It is estimated that the disease causes serious damage to the shrimp farming industry every year around the world. The disease was first reported in Taiwan in 1992, then was identified as the cause of high mortality in shrimp in many countries around the world such as China in 1993, Japan in 1993, Thailand and Vietnam in 1995. To this day, white spot disease remains a damaging threat to the shrimp industry worldwide. Therefore, early detection of WSSV will help to prevent the spread of diseases and minimize economic loss.
TopSPEC® WSSV qPCR Kit is a test kit that detects the existence of WSSV during cultivation. The kit helps detect pathogens early before obvious symptoms appear. Timely preventive and curative measures will save costs and minimize damage to farmers.
Advantages of the kit
