Introduction
Group B streptococcus (GBS) is a gram-positive bacteria commonly found in the vagina and rectum of pregnant women. Women infected with GBS usually have no symptoms and cause no harm, but in some cases, it can cause cervical infection. For pregnant women, during pregnancy, infection with GBS bacteria can lead to neonatal infection, if severe, can lead to death. Therefore, the early screening and detection of this bacteria before giving birth is extremely important.
” TopSENSI® GBS qPCR KIT (RUO) (SQH-105) is a test kit based on the real-time PCR method that allows fast and accurate detection of GBS agent in vaginal swab samples. The kit has the advantages of specificity, high sensitivity, endogenous control helps ensure the extraction process or master mix. ”
Advantages of the kit
- Simple process
- PCR optimal time:1.5 hours
- High sensitivity and specificity (Ability to detect 5 copies/reaction)
- Supplied with a complete set of consumables
- Provide additional master mix for control test (75 tests)
- Compatible with most real-time PCR machines on the market: Rotor Gene Q (Qiagen), 7500, 7500 Fast (Thermo Fisher), AriaMX, Mx 3005p, Bioer, Dlab, etc.
