Introduction
Hepatis C Virus is a silent killer, with a much higher rate of complications (like cirrhosis and liver cancer) than hepatitis B virus. HCV has a single-stranded RNA structure. It is estimated that each year about 3% of the population gets hepatitis and about 170 million people are infected with the hepatitis C virus. Currently, HCV has no specific treatment, so early detection and accurate quantification will help to better the treatment for the patients.
TopSENSI® HCV qPCR Kit (RUO) (SQH-102) is a test kit based on real-time PCR method that allows accurate detection and quantification of HCV concentration in human serum/plasma samples. The standard curve is built based on 5 points that give the most accurate quantitative results. The kit has the advantages of specificity, high sensitivity, endogenous control helps ensure the extraction process or master mix.
Advantages of the kit
- Simple process
- PCR optimal time:1.5 hours
- RNA agent, available in both one-step and two-step real-time PCR (refer to TopSENSI cDNA synthesis Kit).
- High sensitivity and specificity (Ability to detect 250 IU/mL)
- Supplied with a complete set of consumables
- Provide additional master mix for control test (75 tests)
- Compatible with most real-time PCR machines on the market: Rotor Gene Q (Qiagen), 7500, 7500 Fast (Thermo Fisher), AriaMX, Mx 3005p, Bioer, Dlab, etc.
