Introduction
Mycobacterium tuberculosis (MTB) is the main causative agent of a respiratory infectious disease known as tuberculosis. People with tuberculosis will have symptoms of weight loss, loss of appetite, fatigue, which then can transit to a more severe stage: coughing up blood, chest pain, and if not treated promptly, tuberculosis can lead to death. The disease can be transmitted through contact, sharing personal objects. Therefore, screening and early detection play an important role in disease prevention and public health protection.
TopSENSI ® MTB qPCR KIT (RUO) (SQH-106) is a test kit based on real-time PCR method that allows fast and accurate detection of MTB agent in sputum and body fluids. The kit has the advantages of specificity, high sensitivity, endogenous control helps ensure the extraction process or master mix.
