Introduction
Neisseria gonorrhoeae (NGN) is a gram-negative bacteria capable of causing gonorrhea, a highly contagious sexually transmitted disease. Infection in the genitals will lead to inflammation and maybe even infertility. In addition, the disease can cause blood infections, even cancer. For pregnant women, these bacteria can be transmitted through the umbilical cord during pregnancy, which can lead to premature birth, miscarriage, and abnormality. Therefore, the detection and screening of NGN agent is extremely important.
TopSENSI® NGN qPCR KIT (RUO) (SQH-107) is a test kit based on the real-time PCR method that allows fast and accurate detection of NGN agent in vaginal swab samples. The kit has the advantages of specificity, high sensitivity, endogenous control helps ensure the extraction process or master mix.
Advantages of the kit
- Simple process
- PCR optimal time:1.5 hours
- High sensitivity and specificity (Ability to detect 5 copies/reaction)
- Supplied with a complete set of consumables
- Provide additional master mix for control test (75 tests)
- Compatible with most real-time PCR machines on the market: Rotor Gene Q (Qiagen), 7500, 7500 Fast (Thermo Fisher), AriaMX, Mx 3005p, Bioer, Dlab, etc.
