Introduction
Avian flu is a type of influenza caused by Influenza virus A/B that affects poultry (or birds), and can infect some mammals. The virus was first detected in Italy in the early 1900s and is now found in most parts of the world. Because of its easy transmission from one individual to another, influenza A/B tests provide early diagnosis of influenza, so that appropriate treatment and isolation measures can be applied.
TopSPEC®Influenza virus A/B RT-qPCR KIT is a test kit based on Real-time PCR method that allows accurate quantification and rapid detection of the causative agent of Babesiosis on whole blood samples. The average time for detection is 2 hours. The kit combines a new generation Taq Polymerase technology and an optimized buffer system with enhanced substances to improve the efficiency and sensitivity of the reaction. In addition, during extraction or mixing, exogenous controls can be added to avoid false negatives and manipulation errors.
