TopSPEC® CSFV RT-qPCR KIT (SQV-107)

INTRODUCTION

Classical Swine Fever is caused by the Classical Swine Fever Virus (CSFV) and is one of the most infectious and damaging diseases. The disease shows some first manifestations after 3-15 days, commonly causing fever, skin lesions, and convulsions. Infected piglets will die after 15 days. Mortality is high when infected with highly virulent viruses. Therefore, early screening and diagnosis measures should be prioritized.

TopSPEC® CSFV RT-qPCR Kit is designed to detect the presence of CSFV on various samples (tissues, organs, organs, whole blood, serum, and environmental surface samples) by Real-time PCR. The average time for the complete process of detection is 2 hours. The kit is a combination of many modern technologies in molecular biology to significantly improve the specificity and sensitivity of the reaction compared to other products on the market today. In addition, during extraction or mixing, exogenous controls can be added to limit false negatives and manipulation errors.
