Introduction
The new virus, Decapod Iridescent Virus 1 (DIV1), was first detected in 2014 on many types of shrimp such as red shrimp, white shrimp, giant freshwater shrimp, and freshwater lobster. The virus (DIV1) attacks the blood cells in the gills, hepatopancreas, and muscles in infected shrimp. When infected, shrimp might sink to the bottom of the pond, soften the shell, and turn light red, and have many symptoms related to the stomach and intestines. It spreads very fast horizontally and the mortality rate is high. If not detected in time, the disease will cause great loss to farmers.
TopSPEC® DIV1 qPCR Kit is a test kit that detects the presence of Decapod Iridescent Virus 1 (DIV1) in culture medium. Early detection of pathogens helps to minimize the loss caused by DIV1.
Advantages of the kit
- Simple process
- PCR optimal time: 1.5 hours
- Various types of input samples
- High sensitivity and specificity
- Provide additional master mix for control test (75 tests)
- Compatible with most real-time PCR machines on the market: Rotor Gene Q (Qiagen), 7500, 7500 Fast (Thermo Fisher), AriaMX, Mx 3005p, Bioer, Dlab, etc.
