Figwort Mosaic Virus (FMV) promoter is a type of promoter belonging to the Caulimoviridae viruses family, a regulatory gene region, and is widely used in the structure of artificial genes. Therefore, transgenic plants will have FMV promoter in them. The detection of FMV promoter helps to screen suspect GMO foods efficiently.
TopSPEC® FMV Promoter qPCR Kit (SQG-102) is a GMO plant screening test kit that detects transgenic material by the presence of FMV Promoter, which helps to quickly check the origin of Genetically modified food.
