INTRODUCTION
Japanese encephalitis is not only a disease in humans but also affects mammals, especially cattle such as pigs, cows, buffaloes, etc. After the virus enters the body, they enter the bloodstream and move to the internal organs. Finally, when it reaches the developmental stage, encephalitis virus will cause damage to the liver, kidneys, spleen, muscles, and eventually the central nervous system. Infected subjects often have poor immune systems. In particular, when the mother is infected, there is a very high rate of miscarriage. The disease is contagious at any age, therefore early detection will be the most effective risk prevention measure for farmers.
TopSPEC® JEV RT-qPCR Kit is designed for the rapid and accurate detection of Japanese encephalitis virus on various sample type (rectal smears, stool and jejunal tissue samples, lip samples) farm) by Real-time PCR. The average time for the complete process of detection is 2 hours.
